Karthik is a seasoned Data Scientist/AI Practitioner with over 14 years of experience spanning roles at Mu Sigma, Infogain, and Amazon, where he significantly contributed to Data Science and AI transformations. He has deep-domain expertise in Retail, e-commerce, EdTech, Healthcare & Life Sciences.\nKarthik started his career as a Data Scientist in Mu Sigma at 2012 solving business problems for Fortune 100 clients. At Amazon, he served as a Data Scientist for Pricing Analytics, building ML-driven pricing strategies to deliver optimal customer value globally. He later led Alexa AI (Knowledge) for the ANZ region, enhancing Alexa’s intelligence and engagement through cutting-edge NLP techniques. Currently, Karthik serves as Vice President and Head of Data Science & AI, where he built a 35+ member team from the ground up, focusing on developing AI applications using ML, NLP and LLMs. \nBeyond corporate contributions, Karthik is passionate about nurturing the next generation of data professionals.
